The biggest problem I have with Tales of Glory is that it's not at all satisfying to really kill any enemies. There isn't any kind of tactile or visual queue that you did any real damage other than the enemy staggering back a bit only to recover from three stabs to the eye. The clash between a full plateded enemy and my sword for example, should have been able to pierce or clip through the mob entirely. This really allows you to "cheese"! In fact, you can grab a shield and clip your sword through it to block and stab enemies at the same time, or grab two swords and kill other mobs via drum solo. I can't commit to a vr game at that asking price.. Bannerlord is out guys, but its actually named Tales of Glory. Get it, you know you want it.. its alright. I think I've been spoiled by Blade and Sorcery and the physics in that game. Tales of Glory just feels clunky because there really isn't any sort of collision detection to speak of. Hopefully the fighting will get better as time goes on. As for now I can't recommend.. Just a disclosure to my review, I am a tester of this game so yeah....This game is a great experience for anyone to jump into an open medieval world like mount & blade: warband. Especially the campaign, the campaign is literally mount and blade in VR which is F***ing awesome!!! The combat system is pretty good with gore being common, you are able to cut off almost any limb off a person which is honestly amazing. Though the combat is fun, I find it annoying how the AI has supernatural reflexes where they can be engaged with 3 different enemies at once and block all hits. So if I would have to rate this game out of 10, It would probably be a 8. This is a revolutionary VR game that I have wanted for a long time and it has fulfilled its purpose. The -2 comes from some bugs here and there (but the game is in early access so what can you expect?) and some features that should be altered or added to the game. Is it perfect? No, but what is? This has been one of my favorite games so far in VR and is definently going to stay that way for a while. Lets see what the Dev has in mind next..
