About This Game Cyborg TD is a futuristic 3D Tower Defense Game set on board the U.S.S. Andromeda which is under attack from evil cyborgs who are determined to take over the ship deck by deck. It features cool weapons, towers and special abilities with more than 1500 waves and 60 levels. As the cyborgs fight deeper into the ship the waves become much longer and tougher. Towers can be placed anywhere but choosing the right tower in the right place is essential for victory. To help you there are special tiles to place towers which boost either damage, range or rate of fire. A special Super tile is sometimes available too which boosts all three stats. Four emergency special abilities can be used when primed. Towers available include machine gun, laser, plasma, flame, tesla and missile. Machine guns and missiles are the only towers that can target flying drones and normal cyborgs. Plasma also slows the enemy and laser towers reduce shielded enemies to dust. There is also a blocking only tower. You achieve up to three stars for completing a level which can be used to upgrade many stats (though none are awarded on the first two tutorial levels). Beating the game in Normal difficulty unlocks Hard difficulty where some cyborgs shield themselves. Don't worry though, all stars earned so far and upgrades are kept in place. Once Hard is mastered then Extreme is unlocked where the cyborgs fight back and attack your towers. Any player who proves their worth by beating all three difficulties with a perfect three stars on each level be given access to Beta testing our new game in devcelopment. The music is so repetative that you end up turning off the sound. I dont know but this game feals like a pay-to-upgrade game from a phone or tablet thats been converted to PC. more aggravating than fun. not reccommended as there are a lot of better Tower Defense games out there.. Nice little experience of a Tower Defence, Quite a few levels that can provide a challenge without seeming unfair or too difficult. Quite cheap for the amount of content, I'd say it was worth buying if you enjoy the stragety that a game like this can provide.. I like this game. I wish it were longer, but for the price I can't complain, I more than got my money's worth at over 40 hours played.. I like this game a lot. It reminds me of a game I've played on android ever since touch phones came out called Robo Defense. It can be frustrating, but when you finally beat a level you've been struggling with, it is a great feeling. I play on Normal and have encountered some levels that felt very challenging. It is classic tower defense. A good bit of content here for the price. I feel the flame tower is useless though, feels very underwhelming even when fully upgraded. I've found 2 bugs. One caused my game to randomly end right as I was about to win, was quite frustrating. The second occurs every game I play, a simple sound bug where the machine guns make no noise for a minute or so. It's stable. I played this on my very basic laptop at 60fps, as well as my gaming PC. Works perfect. The game over bug only happened to me once. Overall awesome game for the price, definite get for people like me that love tower defense.. This is a decent tower defense game. It has 20 different levels and 3 difficulties. You have to beat one level to progress to the next one. Beating all levels of a difficulty will unlock the next difficulty.As you beat levels you get 1 to 3 stars depending on the number of enemies that got through. These stars are used to upgrade tower strength, abilities, and cash. Each enemy reduces life by one if they get through your defenses. I never got 2 stars even with 17\/20 left on my "life" so not sure how you get two as 3 is perfect and one was finishing with at least 1 life left.There are about half a dozen different towers and the same for enemies. Some levels require you to be very careful about which towers you place and upgrade as you have a limited number of points to place them and no way to alter enemy pathing. Other levels require you to think about creating routes for the enemies to follow as much as the type, number, location, and strength of towes.It took me about 22 hours to get a perfect result on all levels of the first difficulty.. Took me 78 hours to beat every level flawless and I enjoyed every minute of it.. Classic TD Game with interesting balance idea where more of the same type of tower costs more. Pushing you towars a more balanced defense. Well worth the money.. Good. Classic. Simple. Best case senario for a $3 TD game.
